A Facebook post is going viral that shows a child praying over a Tulsa police officer.
It’s been shared nearly 10,000 times.
7-year-old Trey Elliott is making an ambitious goal — he wants to pray for every Tulsa Police officer.
All of this started when his mom, Brittany, explained to him why people are protesting.
She told him people are fighting for their rights, but that she believes most police officers are trying to do the right thing and those officers are going through a tough time right now.
That’s when Trey decided he wanted to help cheer them up.
Earlier this week, he stopped and prayed with a total of 12 officers in one day.
News On 6 asked Trey what his prayer was for those officers.
“It was different every time; just to protect them and their families and our town or city” Trey said.
Trey said he wants Chief Wendell Franklin to be the final officer he prays for.
