Tulsa's Great Raft Race Canceled For 2020 Due To COVID-19 Pandemic

Officials announced on Thursday that Tulsa's Great Raft Race is canceled for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Officials said they made the decision due to public health concerns. They went on to state that the "safety of all participants and attendees in [their] top priority."

"We do not feel we can produce an event that properly adheres to social distancing recommendations" officials stated.

Officials said they will be focusing their efforts on planning the 2021 event.
