With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting so many lives, the Tulsa City County Library wants to create a sense of community and connection during these tough times.
The Tulsa City County Library is accepting submissions for a collaborative community project to document the COVID-19 pandemic in Tulsa.
Allison Embry-Saenz is the coordinator of Together Apart, a project started by the Tulsa City County Library. Their goal is to help share the stories of the COVID-19 pandemic through photos, videos and artwork. Embry-Saenz said this provides Tulsans with a safe place to express themselves and talk about what's happening during these difficult times. It’s also so that history can be recorded.
