City Breaks Ground On New Fire Station In East Tulsa

People in east Tulsa will soon get a faster response from Tulsa firefighters.

The city of Tulsa broke ground today on the future Station 33 at 41st and 129th East Avenue. The $5 million project will help balance the workload handled by a nearby station at 31st and Garnett.

Construction will begin next month and should be completed by December 2021.
