Several school districts are reopening for both in-person and virtual classes, including Bartlesville, Nowata and Glenpool.
Like many districts, Bartlesville is giving students the option of in-person, virtual, or blended classes.
Teachers like Angela Harris have spent the last few weeks making sure their rooms are well sanitized and allow for physical distancing between students.
Harris said she discusses COVID-19 precautions in her classroom procedures and will explain to her fifth graders why it’s important.
"I let them know 'hey, this is for safety, this is for the safety of you as well as your classmates.," Harris said.
The Bartlesville school district says face coverings are required for kids in 4th grade and up.
