Woman In Jail After Car Crashes Into Tulsa Restaurant

A woman is in jail after crashing into the Three Tequilas restaurant near 31st and Peoria on Monday.

Tulsa Police said the driver crossed the street and hit the railing after almost cutting off another driver once the lane narrowed.

The manager said there is some damage to the front of the restaurant, but mostly to the fence on the patio.

"Thank God nobody was on the patio," said manager Juan Flores. "If it would have happened in the evening, normally we have a lot of customers sitting on the patio, and thank God it was right when we opened. Nobody was there, everybody is safe. The building is damaged but that can be fixed, you know."

Tulsa firefighters responded to the scene. Employees inside the restaurant were not hurt and no other injuries have been reported.

Police arrested the driver for not having a license or insurance and other warrants.
