1 In Custody After Pursuit, Crash, Tulsa Police Say

Tulsa Police said one person is in custody after a chase and crash early Thursday morning.

According to authorities, the chase started just before 1 a.m. near Admiral and Yale. Officers said that's where they spotted a white F-250 pickup truck cut across all lanes of traffic into a QuikTrip parking lot nearby.

Police said when officers tried to pull the truck over, the driver quickly pulled out of the parking lot eventually turning northbound onto Memorial.

The truck then turned eastbound on Pine where it made a wide turn, crashing into another car head on.

Officers eventually tracked down and arrested the suspect, Terry Wilhelm.

The driver of the other vehicle is expected to be OK.
