Man Arrested After Police Pursuit Held Passenger In Car Against Her Will

Tulsa Police released new details about the man arrested after a police chase ended in crash near 8th and Peoria on Monday.

Tulsa Police said they originally responded to a gun fight at the Town Square Apartments near Apache and North Peoria yesterday afternoon.

They said Todd Jenkins then led them on a chase with speeds hitting 90 miles per hour. Investigators said his ex-girlfriend was in the passenger seat, held against her will, and tried several times to get out of the car during the chase, but couldn't.

Officers said the pursuit ended when Jenkins crashed into two cars.

Jenkins is being held in the Tulsa County jail for kidnapping, eluding, and obstructing police
