The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to an unusual call overnight of a stalled car on Interstate 44 that was parked on top of a mattress.
The call went out to OHP around 1:30 a.m. The car stalled in the westbound lanes of I-44 near 41st street.
Troopers say the car was parked on the inside shoulder and on top of a mattress.
OHP called Tulsa Fire when the mattress was about to burst into flames.
Crews had their work cut out for them and had to use a jack to lift the car and pull the mattress out.
Troopers say the car was a rental and the driver was nowhere to be found when crews arrived, so they aren't really sure what happened or even where this mattress came from.
Firefighters were able to hose that mattress down and the car was towed away.
