Tesla Receives Permit For Planned Tulsa Showroom, Service Center

Tesla is coming to Tulsa with a new "service center and delivery point".

Earlier this year, Tesla announced Tulsa was a finalist for its next factory, but the electric automaker chose Austin, Texas.

Tulsa just approved a permit for the company to build the new service center at a site near 61st and 129th East Avenue. In addition, sources say a Tesla showroom will be built at a Tulsa "city center" location yet to be determined.

There’s no word yet as to when it would open, but Tesla filed the paperwork in April, more than a month before we learned Tulsa was a finalist for the factory.
