The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra will kick off its fall season Saturday night.

The season-opening performance is at 8 p.m. and will celebrate Ludwig Van Beethoven.

14th Annual Tulsa Restaurant Week

The 14th annual Tulsa Restaurant Week kicks off Friday afternoon and will continue until September 13.

There are 40 participating local restaurants that have come up with special menus and pricing and a portion of those sales will go to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

Each year dozens of restaurants participate in Tulsa Restaurant Week to help raise money for the Community Food Bank of Oklahoma. The kick-off is Friday at 2 p.m. at Lambrusco’z on 41st and Peoria, but you can find a full list of all forty participating restaurants here.

Vernon AME Church, Community Service Council Come Together To Fight Hunger

The Vernon Chapel AME Church and Community Service Council joined forces Saturday morning to feed Tulsa’s homeless and provide for families in need.

Local Group Attempts To Convert Former Detention Center To New Housing

A group of Tulsa citizens are asking for the public's help getting the former juvenile detention center ready to become new homes for hundreds of people.
