Judge Orders Father Accused Of Killing Daughter To Get Mental Evaluation

A judge ordered a Green Country father to get a mental evaluation after he was charged with killing his five-year-old daughter.

An affidavit said Adam Mason admitted to punching, drowning and burning his five-year-old daughter.

Mason told investigators he did it because he believed she was “controlled by witchcraft.” Mason’s attorney said Mason can’t give appropriate responses to questions and said he believes Mason may have a mental disease or defect.
