Police Arrest Man They Say Robbed Sonic Employee At Gunpoint

Tulsa Police arrested a man who they said robbed a Sonic employee at gunpoint and hid the money in a barbecue grill.

Anthony Washington is in jail tonight on an armed robbery charge. Police said he used a gun to steal around $150 in cash from a carhop at the Sonic near 11th and Garnett before running off.

Police were able to track him down a few hours later. Police said Washington stashed the money inside a grill at the house where he was arrested.
