Update: Man Accused Of Kidnapping Arrested After Manhunt

The Haskell County Sheriff's Office said a man is behind bars after leading them on a several-day manhunt.

With the help of US Marshals, the sheriff's office said they've captured Carney Hood in Haskell County overnight.

Hood is wanted for kidnapping and assaulting his girlfriend.

The search for Hood also went into Pittsburgh and Muskogee Counties.

Authorities have been searching for him since an arrest warrant was issued for him on Monday.

On Sunday, crews searched the southeast portion of Haskell County.

Hood was found early Monday morning in Kinta.

Haskell County Sheriff Tim Turner said it's been difficult to find Hood because he knows the area.

News On 6 has also learned that seven additional people have been arrested on suspicion of helping Hood stay on the run.
