Veteran Salute: Erin & Walter Delong

News On 6 is recognizing two veterans who are making a difference in their communities, Erin and Walter Delong.

The Delong’s are both Army veterans and met while serving in Iraq. Erin was a medic and Walter was a nurse. Erin now home schools their four boys and Walter still works as a nurse.

The Delong’s live in Claremore and are very active serving the community. Erin and Walter are currently leading a Celebrate Recovery group and are involved in the foster system.
