13-Year-Old Boy Dies In Pittsburg County Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has confirmed that a 13-year-old boy was killed Friday in a crash in Pittsburg County.

Troopers say a 13-year-old boy was driving a pick-up truck about a mile west of Indianola around 8 p.m. when he drove off the road through a barbed-wire fence rolling the truck several times. The 13-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene and troopers say he was not wearing a seatbelt. OHP is still investigating this crash.
