Teacher Of The Day: Julie Karalis

The teacher of the day is first grade teacher Julie Karalis from Bixby Public Schools.

Each month teachers engage in a monthly Great Expectations challenge. September's challenge was to include vocabulary and student work with classroom decorations and Julie's classroom of creative learners won!

Julie taught kindergarten for five years and decided to follow up with her kindergartners into first grade.

Julie said she thought it was a good time for sticking together since the academic year got cut short last year. With Covid-19 in play, it has helped make this new year an easier transition for her students.
