Historic Brookshire Motel Torn Down After Deadly Fire In May

The old Brookshire Motel on Route 66 no longer stands.  

The historic motel sat at 11th and Garnett since the 1940s. In recent years, it has been the site of several fires and the city of Tulsa condemned the property after a deadly fire in May.

Crews tore down the building Monday.
