Tulsa Police Arrest Man After Pursuit On I-44

Tulsa Police have a man in custody after a pursuit near I-44 and 41st Street.

Officials said they received a call about a possible drunk driver, and when they responded, the driver took off in his car. Police said he was in a parking lot near 21st and Sheridan.

Police said he led officials on a pursuit that ended on I-44 when the suspect crashed at the 41st street exit ramp.

Police said that the vehicle and suspect matched a description wanted for an armed robbery earlier on Thursday. Officials said the license plate of the car was reported as stolen, connected to the robbery.

Authorities said the suspect refused to give his real name.

Police said the suspect was not injured and did not injure anyone else in the pursuit.
