Here’s a look at six things to know before you set your alarm for Tuesday.
.COVID-19 IN TULSA: Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum, the Health Department and St. Francis will host a COVID-19 update at City Hall Tuesday. The news conference will be streamed on the City’s Facebook page starting at noon.
.MASK UP ON THE BUS: Tulsa Transit will meet Tuesday at noon and will consider cracking down on its mask policy, including denying boarding to people without a mask.
.SPECIAL MEETING: There’s a special Tulsa City Council meeting on possibly expanding 36 Degrees North. That will be held at the basecamp and then the council will reconvene at One Technology Center where the expansion could happen.
.TRAFFIC ALERT: Drivers will see two major changes in construction zones on I-44 Tuesday, weather permitting. At 165th, all east and westbound lanes will be open in the ongoing work zone, including new lanes. All east and westbound lanes in the nearly four-mile East End corridor will be open.
.LET’S TALK PARKS: Tuesday is the final community input meeting for Tulsa Parks. Voters approved $30 million for improving parks and the city wants to know what you would like to see change. To join the meeting, head to the Tulsa Parks Facebook page from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
.HAPPY TUESDAY: Looking at some unofficial holidays, Tuesday is Black Cat Day, National Tell a Story Day and Navy Day.
