1.HONORING AN OFFICER: The funeral for Tulsa Police officer and Fraternal Order of Police Chairman Jerad Lindsey is Thursday afternoon at Victory Church. The husband and father passed away last week from COVID-19 complications.
2.MASKS IN SCHOOLS: There’s a push for the state school board to reconsider a statewide mask mandate in classrooms. The Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy is leading a virtual news conference Thursday.
3.TAKE TO THE SKIES: You can fly direct to Arizona on American Airlines. There’s a news conference at Tulsa International Airport Thursday morning to celebrate the inaugural flight.
4.TRAV’S SPECIAL REPORT: The sun goes down earlier with the Daylight-Saving time change and winter is on its way. How will the season pan out in Oklahoma, where we’ve already had a record-breaking October ice storm? 5.WATER CIRCUS: Cirque Italia starts Thursday at Woodland Hills Mall. It’s the first-ever traveling Italian water circus in the country and features a 35,000 -gallon water stage with unique performances that are animal-free. Tickets range from $10-$40 and the show runs in Tulsa through November 15.
6.MEN MAKE THE MEAL: Guys, you’ve been warned and ladies, here’s a reminder. Thursday is national Men Make Dinner day, and you can’t just order a pizza to participate. Men are required to make something with four ingredients and buy those themselves.
