A man is in custody after Tulsa fire investigators said they believed he was connected to a string of overnight fires along a Tulsa neighborhood street.
According to fire officials, all of the fires began within a 30-minute time frame early on Thursday morning.
Officials said they arrived on the scene of the first fire was around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday after receiving reports of flames coming from the roof of a house located on North Atlanta Place, near East Pine Street and North Lewis Avenue. Crews were able to put out the flames however officials said that was the third fire that had broken out at that house in the past month.
Minutes after crews were able to control the first fire, they had to put out a car fire that was only blocks away. Shortly after that, crews said that there was a third fire in a vacant house nearby that had been boarded up due to a previous fire.
No injuries were reported at any of the three fires.
The Tulsa Fire Department has confirmed the arrest, however, they have not yet released any information on the individual.
