Out-Of-State Contractor To Take Over Fire & Rescue Operations At Tulsa Airport

The Tulsa Airport Authority has voted to use an out-of-state contractor for its fire and rescue operations.

It’s a job the Tulsa Fire Department has been doing for decades. Board members said it’s a cost-saving measure that will save a million dollars.

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum was the only member of the board to vote against the change.
