Man In Custody After Standoff With Claremore Police

A man is in custody after Claremore Police said he involved them in a standoff.

Police said they got a call about a man pointing an AR style weapon at passing cars. When officers responded, they said he went back into the house and refused to come out.

Officials said they used one non-lethal bean bag rounds to get him out of the house. Officials said the suspect is currently at the hospital.

Claremore Police said this is an ongoing investigation and that no shots were fired.
