Lincoln Christian and Holland Hall will square off for the 3A title Friday night at UCO.

The Bulldogs enter the title game as the reigning champs and want to keep their 26-win streak intact. The Bulldogs are working to stay cool and collected ahead of the matchup.

Finding the endzone hasn't been a problem for Lincoln Christian. In their 12 wins, the Bulldogs have two shutouts and are averaging 50 points a contest.

The Dutch aren't that far behind, also undefeated with six shutout wins, but Lincoln Christian Head Coach Jerry Ricke understands Friday will be a heavy weight fight.

"We know it’s going to be a battle, but our kids have been in this battle and they are going to go out Friday night and give it everything they have,” Ricke said.

The 15 seniors are gunning for a repeat to cement their legacy. Wide receiver Kolby Katisch already has 20 touchdowns on the year, and he is looking to bring home his second gold ball.

“We’re not done, the seniors last year they obviously help win a championship, but our senior class will do something about it too,” Katisch said.

The bond that Kolby shares with Ricke runs deep. He has been playing for him since he was in 3rd grade, so coach knows his player well.

"He likes to call plays on the sideline for himself for which I love,” Ricke said. “I want kids to want the ball."
