Veteran Salute: Junior McDaniel

News On 6 continues to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their community.

Today, we honor Junior McDaniel.

Junior turns 95 years old this year. His birthday is actually on Veteran's Day.

His family said he's a great example of an honorable man and veteran. He is a decorated veteran who proudly served in World War II.

His family said he is the epitome of what an Oklahoman is, and they're extremely proud of him.
