TPS Virtual Class Continues Despite Campuses Closing for Weather

While many schools are out on Tuesday, Tulsa Public Schools is holding classes virtually like any other day, with a few changes due to weather.

Tulsa Public Schools said students logged into their virtual learning classes like normal, but all school campuses were closed so teachers will work from home. The district office sites are closed as well. TPS has also canceled all evening athletic events and its "care and connect" service hours.

The district is closing its grab-and-go meal sites, so families won't be able to pick up meals Tuesday morning. And the Mobile Meals bus routes will not run either. Tuesday is also an election day and some TPS school sites are polling places.

The district said those will open for voters at 7:00 a.m. as planned and close at 7:00 p.m.
