The Oklahoma State Department of Health said drugmaker Pfizer is boosting its vaccine shipment to Oklahoma by 25%, meaning the state will have 137,000 doses.

The winter weather has caused some distribution delays, but this week's shipment of about 110,000 doses should arrive in Oklahoma by Saturday.

"We're currently operating from vaccine supply that exists because of weather-related clinic cancellations or clinics that were planned but never scheduled because of weather uncertainty," said Deputy State Health Commissioner Keith Reed.

According to officials, the state has not had to waste any vaccine from the winter storm.
