A citation for begging in the street turned into an arrest for firearm and drug possession.
Tulsa Police say Donald King was begging at the Memorial Dr. exit near I-244. According to police, King had several warrants for soliciting In the street, and that while they were arresting him on those warrants King admitted to having a loaded revolver.
TPD says King told police he found it in a dumpster but officers believe it was stolen. Police say King also had a bag of methamphetamine in his pocket. He was arrested on suspicion of having a firearm as a felon and also having drugs.
