Tulsa Police Searching For Vehicle Involved In Deadly Hit-And-Run

Tulsa Police are searching for a vehicle suspected to be involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident early Wednesday morning.

Police said just after midnight on Wednesday, Charles Chenoweth was walking on 73rd East Avenue near Grissom Elementary school. Authorities said there were no sidewalks and a vehicle hit Chenoweth head-on, rolled him under the car and kept driving. Police said Chenoweth was killed in the incident.

Police said the suspected vehicle is an older model four-door sedan that they suspect would have damage on the front bumper or grille and a broken headlight. Police did not give a color or specific make of the vehicle.
