Here’s a look at six things to know before you set your alarm for Saturday.
1.FIREFIGHTERS FUNDRAISING: The Freedom Hill Volunteer Fire Department will host a drive-thru spaghetti dinner and bake sale at Freedom Hill Baptist Church to raise money after they lost a truck while fighting grass fires a few weeks ago. Plates are $10 and it runs from 12 – 6 p.m.
2.SHOP LOCAL: The TulsaGo Market is going on at the fairgrounds. You can shop several local brands all in one place. Admission is free and the first 100 attendees will receive a free tote bag. It starts at 10 a.m.
3.STANG THANG: Stang Thang will be happening at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. You can check out Mustangs and a fly-in from the Oklahoma Pilot Association.
4.GOING DANCING: March Madness continues Saturday. OU will take on former Big 12 opponent Missouri at 6:25 p.m. ORU and OSU punched their tickets on Friday to the next round.
5.THROWBACK ON ICE: If hockey is more your thing, it’s throwback night at the BOK Center as the Tulsa Oilers will face off against the Allen Americans. Puck drop is just after 7 p.m.
6.SPRING IS HERE: Saturday is the first official day of spring. Meteorologist Travis Meyer says we should see a beautiful six-star day with highs in the 60s so get out and enjoy it.
