Wednesday’s amazing Oklahoman is a man from Shawnee who’s been recovering from a terrible accident one step at a time.

Kelly Cook is a well-known business owner. A year ago, he fell 20 feet from a tree and severely injured his spinal cord.

Cook has been making great progress in his recovery in the past year and is finally able to walk again. Friends said he’s an inspiration to everyone he meets.
