Amazing Oklahoman: Cheryl Plumlee

Monday’s amazing Oklahoman saved the life of one her children with an organ donation 25 years ago this week.

When one of her kids had kidney failure, Cheryl Plumlee insisted she would be the one to donate her own kidney. The donation allowed her child to raise their own children and live a normal life without being on dialysis.
