36-Year-Old Hit, Killed While Walking On Highway In Tillman County

A Tulsa man is dead after a pickup hit him while he was walking in the road in rural Tillman County.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol said 36-year-old James Barrett was walking in the middle of Highway 183 around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday when a pickup hit him from behind. Barrett died at the scene.

OHP said it’s still looking into what happened.
