Amazing Oklahoman: Julia Isley

Monday’s amazing Oklahoman is a Tulsa fifth grade student competing for a chance to have her artwork displayed for the world to see.

Julia Isley’s picture was named the best in Oklahoma in the Doodle For Google contest for students. Now, it’s entered into the national contest.

If her picture wins the national award, it will be displayed on Google’s homepage for a day and she will get a $30,000 college scholarship.

Voting has already finished and Julia will find out next week if she’s in the top five.
