Paper Clip Pom Pom Bookmarks

Courtnay Grider of A Sprinkle of Courtnay shares a fun craft in time for those summer reading goals!

Supplies:

·Yarn

·Paper Clips

·Scissors

Instructions:

1.Pre-cut a small piece of yarn about 10 inches long and lay across your work space.

2.Wrap yarn around your fingers. The more you wrap the fuller the Pom Pom will be.

3.Carefully slide the yard off your fingers and lay it across the precut piece of yarn.

4.Tie the yarn into a knot around your bundle.

5.Now it's time to cut your yarn. Slide your scissors into the loops and cut. Do this all the way around the Pom Pom. As you are doing this, be sure to keep your long pieces out of the way. You will want these long pieces to attach the paper clip too.

6.Give the long pieces a trim until your desired Pom Pom look is created.

7.Take the two long pieces and tie them into a knot around your paper clip. This will create your bookmark. Ps. Make sure you are tying the Pom Pom to the correct end of the paper clip. You want it to be able to slide onto your book pages.
