The hole is filled, but crews are still monitoring the fix. Barnsdall Mayor Johnny Kelley said the situation is under control right now.

Overnight, work crews filled the 15-foot hole with tons of rocks to slow the leak. They built a road on top of the dam so they could reach the hole to fill it as a temporary solution.
Kelley said a permanent fix is going to take time and a lot of money.
The Barnsdall area received more than five inches of rain in the past few days. Kelley said crews are ready to lower the water levels if they need to.
The mayor said crews from the city plan to come out at least three to four times a day to monitor the filling until a permanent fix is made.
