Tulsa Students Launch Digital Projects To Share Story Of Greenwood

Almost 200 students at Tulsa Community College and Tulsa Public Schools have spent the last year working on two digital programs that tell the story of Greenwood.

The Mapping Greenwood project and the Black Wall Street Business Directory were unveiled Monday. The project gave many students hands-on experience with web design.

"They provided the material that we would use inside the website and we kind of coded it in and chose the format,” Carver Middle School student Emilia Nguyen said.
