Veteran Salute: Dr. Harry Barnes

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we recognize retired Brigadier General Dr. Harry Barnes.

Harry served in both World War II and Korea.

He returned home and received his dental degree from Baylor and continued his service with the Oklahoma National Guard.

He turns 100 in August.
