The Muscogee Nation is holding an emergency meeting on Thursday night to discuss the future of the former Cancer Treatment Centers of America building in Tulsa.
Cancer Treatment Centers of America officially closed the doors to its Tulsa location last week and while the building now sits vacant, it could soon be in new hands.

The Muscogee Nation announced it will be holding an emergency meeting to talk about potentially buying the hospital.
The nation needs nearly $17 million to continue operating the now-empty building for the rest of the fiscal year.
They will also discuss how to appropriate that kind of money at Thursday's meeting.

If the tribe does end up getting the former CTCA building, the tribe said it would expand its hospital services, but did not go into specifics.
The emergency meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
