As Labor Day weekend approaches, law enforcement is warning people about the dangers of drinking and driving.
State and local agencies met Thursday to talk about the Tulsa County End DUI Campaign and how they want to work with the community to make roads safer.
The Able Commission said between 2017 and 2019, 56 people died in drunk driving accidents in Tulsa county alone.
They want to remind people to plan ahead and have a ride there and back or a place to stay if they plan on drinking. They said there is no reason to get behind the wheel if you have been drinking.
Officers will be out on the holiday weekend to help stop drinking and driving.
