State Health Department Encourages Testing, Vaccinations As Delta Variant Spreads

The state health department is encouraging more people to seek out testing and vaccinations as COVID-19 spreads. Active cases and hospitalizations were up on Thursday, and another 54 people have now died.

Physicians working with the state health department say the spread now shows how COVID has changed to a more aggressive disease, that's moving faster both in terms of transmission and in how quickly it can overwhelm even younger, healthy people.
