High School Football Roundup: Week 1

It’s time for the week one high school football roundup of games across Green Country.                                 

Broken Arrow at Union: In a matchup of Green Country stalwarts, Union hosted Broken Arrow at the new Union-Tuttle stadium. Union hangs on to win it 38-28.

Cascia Hall at Holland Hall: Private school powers squared off and Holland Hall runs away with it, 45-7.

Fayetteville at Owasso: Bill Blankenship and Owasso hosting the coach’s former team, Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Owasso Rams take the win, 41-29.

Booker T. Washington at Del City: Booker T. Washington trying to make it 2-0 against west side teams, visiting Del City this week. The final, 39-26, Booker T.

Collinsville at Oologah: 5A Collinsville heading just down the road to face the Oologah Mustangs. Collinsville wins this one, 54-22.

Wagoner at Coweta: Defending 4A champ Wagoner visiting an up-and-coming Coweta team. The final, 37-14 Coweta.

Central at Memorial: In a matchup of TPS schools at LaFortune stadium, Central beats Memorial 50-7.
