7-Vehicle Crash Causes Significant Delays Along US-169

Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash involving 6 cars and a dump truck along US-169 near the 51st Street exit on Monday morning.

All lanes of northbound US-169 at 51st St are now back open. The crash caused significant backups for drivers, leaving a large section of US-169 at a near standstill.

According to police, two people were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash

Police say the dump truck spilled diesel fuel onto the highway and hazmat crews were on the scene helping clean up.

Currently, it is unclear what lead to the accident.
