Folks in Coweta are cleaning up after a tornado swept through the middle of town Sunday night.

Osage SkyNews 6 pilot Dustin Stone captured the path of the Coweta tornado from the sky Monday.

From the vantage point of Osage SkyNews 6, it looks like the first notable damage is near 158th Street and 279th East Avenue and followed a path north-northeast for about a mile and a half.

Damage in one neighborhood ranged from broken tree limbs to more serious issues like a house that lost part of its roof.

Not far from that at the Mission Intermediate Grade Center, air conditioning units were blown off the roof, landing in the parking lot.

The path of damage continued from there to the high school baseball field where it destroyed part of the fence leaving debris all over the field.

It then moved across Highway 51 to a gas station where high winds tore up part of the metal awning. From there, it looks like the storm continued northeast leaving most of the severe damage behind it.
