A new house bill could help local restaurants that are dealing with a shortage of workers.

House Bill 2380, which was passed on November 1, gives customers the ability to get their own beer or wine from automated machines.

First, customers must prove that they're at least 21-years-old. Then, they will receive a wristband that will allow them to pour up to 32 oz of beer and 10 oz of wine at a time.

An employee will then scan the wristband to see the exact amount that was poured and charge the customer accordingly.
