Sequoyah Public Schools Closes Monday As Authorities Search For Fugitives

Sequoyah Public Schools said in a statement that all campus facilities will be closed on Monday. The school said it is closing on November 15th because of the ongoing search for two fugitives in Rogers County.

Sequoyah Public Schools said in a statement that all campus facilities will be closed on Monday.

The school said it is closing on November 15th because of the ongoing search for two fugitives in Rogers County.

U.S. Marshals and the Rogers County Sheriff's office are working to locate Dustin Marris and Coker Barker, who escaped from the Moore Detention Center in Okmulgee.

Authorities are using Sequoyah's campus as a staging area during the search.
