Oklahoma won a lawsuit it joined that challenged a rule in the American Rescue Plan.

A judge in Alabama ruled the federal government over-stepped its authority when it prohibited states from using COVID-19 relief to off-set tax cuts.

In a statement, State House Speak Charles McCall said, "Even though Oklahoma never would have been subject to the attempted restriction due to surplus state revenues, it was important to stand up and challenge this obvious federal overreach."
