Tulsa Police say officers are looking for the people responsible for shooting a 16-year-old multiple times at a Tulsa apartment complex. Investigators say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say they were called to the East Central Village apartments near Admiral and 129th East Avenue around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Investigators say they found the victim in an apartment he ran into after getting shot.

Officers say the victim was hit in the leg and was grazed by another bullet on his head. Police say the victim was taken to the hospital.

At the scene, investigators say they found evidence suggesting at least two people fired shots at the victim’s car as he was driving. The victim’s mom tells police the shooting could be a result of something that happened at school.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS.
