Warming Stations Open In Bartlesville Until Sunday

Bartlesville roads have been treated all day and night for the past few days and crews continue to make sure people who need to get out can do it safely.

Main roads and major highways are pretty much cleared as of snow as of Friday, with cars and the sun melting a lot of it.

Many kids took to the hills to sled and enjoy the new warmth and fresh blanket of snow.

As temperatures continue to get colder into the evening, there are still warming centers available. One is at Disciples Christian Church where people can stay the night, get a nice meal, a new change of clothes and some comforting words from volunteers.

"We feel good about being able, it’s quiet and peaceful it feels like home. I just love (that) we can offer that and glad we can provide that space," said Rev. Kelley Becker with Disciples Christian Church.

The church warming center will be open until Sunday.
